The Village Board meets twice a month at 6:30 PM on the first and third Thursday of each month at the Jerome Civic Center.
Board meetings are open to the public. We welcome all residents to attend and participate in our community discussions.

Leigh’s commitment to enhancing quality of life for Jerome’s residents remains steadfast, reflecting a lifelong passion for the town’s growth and well-being.

He was first elected to the Village of Jerome Board of Trustees in 2003 and, a decade later in 2013, was elected Village President, a role in which he continues to serve today. Beyond his work in village leadership, Mike has contributed to many local organizations. He has served as Co-President of the Southeast High School Athletic Boosters, been a member of the Sangamon County Regional Leadership Council, and participated in the MacArthur Boulevard Association. He also serves on the Augustana College Alumni Board. Dedicated to making Jerome a great place to live, Mike strives to foster positive relationships with residents and businesses alike, ensuring the village remains a welcoming community for all.
