Jerome Public Works Department Services
The Jerome Public Works Department provides a variety of essential services for our residents, including:
- Brush Cleanup: Removal of brush and tree limbs as budget permits.
- Street and Water System Maintenance: Regular upkeep of Jerome’s streets and water infrastructure.
- Village Property Maintenance: Ensures all village-owned properties are properly maintained.
- Snow Removal and Street Salting: Clears snow and applies salt to streets during winter weather.
- Off-Street Parking Installation: Residents can request the installation of off-street parking by submitting a written request. The resident is responsible for material costs, and the Village will cover labor expenses. (See the application form below.)
- Street Light Repairs: Handled by CWLP. To request repairs, call (217) 789-2121.
Hello, Just trying to make sure that the scheduled limb pick up during the week of August 11, 2025 is still “on”? I have seen no notices to the contrary, so I am guessing it is still on schedule. Thank you.
Will limb pick up continue next week? I have pile of limbs on Leonard side of my property that was not picked up. If problem with pile please advise so I do not make same mistake next time. Thank you for your service.
